Stadium Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin roof, State Sports Complex in Gong Badak, which is worth RM292 million and became the main venue Sports Malaysia (Sukma) 2008 collapsed causing about 50 percent of the structure destroyed.
Damages involving eastern part of the stadium along 400 meters. It houses the main entrance, gates A, B and B1 to seat public seat and the royal guests and VIPs.
The incident also damaged a Perodua Kancil cars and 4 motorcycles. But no fatality accident was reported.
